Description

This is a section of Sport Park near Surprising Crag. It is overhanging, hence the name. It has about 6-7 routes here in the advanced range of difficulty.

L->R these are:

A. Build a Dam, Boys, 12
B. Whippin' Post, 12
C. Whippin' Factor, 12
D. Warf Factor, 12-
E. Warf Post, 11-
F. Hard warm-Up, 11
G. Invisible Touch, 12

Getting There

This is in the general area of Surprising Crag and Sport Park, which lies on the S side of the road. Park as for Sport Park, cross the creek, head left or E. Look for a slightly-overhanging wall low. 3-5 minute approach. You can access it from Surprising Crag, but that is more difficult.

From Peter Franzen "Overhung Wall...lies below Surprising Crag; these can be approached by heading downstream (N) shortly after crossing the creek, then heading uphill to the crags."

Guidebook

Mark Rolofson has an excellent Boulder Canyon Sport & Adventure Climber's Guide, Volume II, The Upper Canyon. Consider it for more details.
