Description 

The gully running up the right side of Blob Rock, between Blob and East Blob. The home to many of the harder sport routes on Blob Rock.

Routes from left to right:

A. Orange Crush, 11+, 1p, 70', 9 bolts. Corner with orange streaks.
B. Respite, 11+, 1p, 50', 7 bolts.
C. Jolt Cola, 12+, 1p, 7 bolts.
D. Ginseng Rush, 12-, 1p, 60', 6 bolts.
E. Decade Dance, 11-, 2p, 100', gear.
F. Aging Time, 11, 2p, 160', gear.
G. Vasodilator, 13-, 1p, 11 bolts. Overhanging arete.
H. Hypertension, 12, 1p, 8 bolts.


Getting There 

Park just upstream from Cob Rock. Take the trail to Blob Rock, go around to the right and up to the gully.

Featured Route For Right Gully
Kirk Miller took this picture of Mark Rolofson just above the first crux.  The old route to the first anchor took me five days to scrub and bolt, alone, often in the dark, after work.  Mark put in the cool roof finish several years later.  <br /><br />I used to always say that a bolter's reward for doing a new route was listening to others complain about it.  But you guys have really spoiled me with your positive comments.  Thank you very much!<br /><br /><br /><br />

Jolt Cola 5.12-  CO : Boulder Canyon : ... : Right Gully
This is one of my favorite sport routes in Boulder Canyon, and one of the pumpiest under-vertical climbs I've ever done. It's the middle route of 3 that are located about 50 yards uphill and right (up the gully) from "Bolt Cola" and "Where Eagles Dare". For me, there are several distinct cruxes, some of which are pump-induced as you get higher. Well protected, sustained, and perfect rock. Please be careful walking around in this gully, especially if people are on routes lower down. A party up on the ledge below Vasodilator knocked a huge block down, which was funneled right towards my belayer. Thank you to the guy who jumped in front of it. Hope your leg is doing better.
