Description 

Begin down and left from the Dominator. Set up on a ledge beneath a ramp that leans up to the east. Climb the ramp (Class 4), then climb straight up the leftmost dihedral to the 2-bolt anchor at the top. This route is just left of Common Denominator.


Protection 

Bring gear up to 2 inches. No bolts. 2 bolt-anchor with rings at the top. Lower off, 100 feet.

Three Dihedrals.  All climbs start at the base of a low-angle ramp.  <br /><br />Dihedral One takes the steep corner on the left. (5.7)<br /><br />Common Denominator climbs the arete and face right of Dihedral One. (5.9+)<br /><br />Dihedral Two climbs the bushy corner right of Common Denominator. (5.8)<br /><br />Dominatrix is the third dihedral; it starts uphill on the right. (5.8 or 5.10)

This is a very nice pitch. The corner is steep and sustained, and it has some neat stems, backsteps, and jams. Good pro the whole way. Belay from a small stance at the anchor or lower off. A great trad lead for someone breaking into 5.7.

Actually, it is a lot better than it looks and climbs well. The corner look dirty, but it actually isn't, and you don't really get that far into it anyway.
