BETA PHOTO: The west-facing wall on the South Face of Surprisi...
Description This is the second route from the left on the small west-facing wall on the South Face of Surprising Crag (just right of Chasing Sticks). Climb past an overhang, layback up to a stance, and climb thin seams and face to the top.
Protection 5 or 6 bolts to a 2-bolt anchor.
By Gary Schmidt From: Boulder, CO Jul 29, 2005 Has some fun moves. Definitely surprisingly stiffer than it looks from the ground.
By Tamara B Jul 16, 2007 rating: 5.8- First day to the park. On-site lead Vitamin V. Wish I could say I agree with the ratings. In my very limited experience, I would give it a 5.8-. Fun climb! I'll be back for more of it and its neighbors.
