The majority of these boulders are located within the Mt Evans Wilderness Area, which is regulated & patrolled by the US Forest Service. Climber's should be on their best behavior, practice Leave No Trace, and please abide by these requirements: MORE INFO >>>

Description

Begin from a sit start using good holds in the seam down low. After a move or two, a long move to an invisible-from-below LH layaway crimp is necessary. Another long move to the slopey shelf short of the top and all that is left is some nifty footwork and balance to topout.

Although I do not have FA info for this line, one of the Ohio crew are the likely first ascentionist. This is a nice independent line that looks harder than it really is.

Location

Uptrail Face is in the center of the uptrail face of the boulder 6 feet left of the Trailside Arete.

Protection

An Organic pad or two.
