Greenland Ski Crossing - presented by Ryan Waters

Join Ryan Waters for this multimedia show detailing a ski expedition to cross Greenland in May of 2009. Ryan along with Cecilie Skog and three teammates skied almost 600 kilometers and encountered -40 degree temperatures on a 23 day crossing of the inland ice. The show will detail their experiences and describe the 12-hour ski days in an amazing glacial landscape, where daily considerations can include extreme weather changes, navigation challenges, crevasses and possible polar bear encounters.
