Wow Fran. Sounds like quite the adventure.

The same guy who is organizing this trip also previously arranged a 3 year around the world climbing trip. I met them several years ago when this trip was going through Yosemite. I was traveling solo, so I became part of their collective for a few weeks. It was a lot of fun. Later that summer the trip came through Colorado. I was able to host them and show them around to all of the great climbing here.

When they entered the US, they had to give up on the Big Red Truck. No one would give them insurance for such a huge vehicle. They ended up buying some yellow vans from a daycare place.

If you are thinking of heading out of the US, I can tell you they run a great operation. Changes certainly happen, but they do a great job of handling the logistic nightmares that happen when traveling internationally.
