| Hey I love my climbing partners here in the Springs, but our schedules aren't matching up the greatest right now, so its tough to climb as often as I want to. I will climb just about anything fun, so hit me up. I'm 28 year old guy, enjoy safety and climbing and beers afterwards. I climb this: 5.11 sport 5.9 trad V5 boulders Gym climbing Some of the buildings in C.Springs for fun Trees Houses This feels like a "personals" ad, but I'm happily in a relationship! | FLAG |

| Jason T.. Who are you? Nice move breaking MP Guideline #1. What's your problem anyway ? Would you like to meet and discuss it? You don't know me or the other guy, yet you have the audacity and immaturity to post lies and talk $! ??? I have 0 tolerance for instigators like you. I suggest you find some self respect and stay away from me and my posts. Thanks. | FLAG |

Thank you. I will climb with you. Welcome to C.Springs, not everyone here is as cheeky to total strangers as JasonT is... I know how to belay as well, trade catches? Can't do Shelf and this weekend I will be in Penitente Canyon working on the anchor repairs and trail work... you might consider coming down if you can Shane, I work weekdays so I'm forced to be a "weekend warrior", but I do get out in the afternoons ecpecially if the weather is good. I'll trade catches with you too. | FLAG |

| S.Stelli I'm pretty sure we've met before - you look familiar. We usually go out of town once on the weekend and often climb local or gym during the week. Feel free to hit me up. I'm right around the corner from the Garden and work from home so I can often get out for an after work climb. Wednesdays are no good however. Looking to do some more trad in the splatte, eldo, lumpy, rmnp as well now that the weather is getting better. Do you have a rack? | FLAG |

You took a shot at someone over the internet, who you have never met, on a thread that you apparently have no interest in other than to say cheeky things about being a fanboy. Real nice. Why don't you just move on and let the rest of us make new climbing friends without the pointless nonsense. | FLAG |

Cool man - well if you live right by the Garden, we probably have met sometime. I live right there too and climb there whenever. Yeah I've got a decent enough rack to climb most places - trad isn't my first pick usually, but I give it an honest go. I'll look you up soon - this weekend I'll be in the San Luis, after that I'm game for just about anywhere | FLAG |

I second what Stich said... the sandstone in C.Springs is just barely acceptable enough to climb on, I certainly would drive elsewhere to climb I still love the Springs though! There are some great climbs around here just gotta find them | FLAG |

While others types are better than others- like Wind gate vs Lyons- the sandstones here is awesome, unique and climb worthy IMHO. Berta, enjoy the Gardens and Red Rock. I might be able to join, hit me up closer to the date! Tim- how are ya!? Its been awhile.... maybe we should get beer night going again...?? | FLAG |

I'm just trying to keep people away from our unique climbing lol Whats this about beer night? I'll go to that! I've been frequenting the fine establishments around the Springs looking for great beer and people and I've really got a liking for Bristol Brewery right now... but there are so many great places to gather and drink good beers... we should definately take advantage | FLAG |

While I personally really enjoy the unique climbing and beautiful setting that the garden offers it certainly doesn't appeal to everyone. I think what stitch and S.Stelli are saying is that if you're only going to be here for a few days and want full value then making the drive up to Eldo (or elsewhere) is definitely the way to go. That being said the Garden is definitely worth checking out if you have to stay local Berta. If you do head to the Garden and slabs are not your thing then try climbing on the East side of Kindergarten rock where it's more vertical and the stone is much more solid. New Era www.mountainproject.com/v/new-era/105753640 is an excellent 2 pitch trad line, as is Bob's But crack www.mountainproject.com/v/bobs-buttress-crack/105751690 1 pitch. There are also some good sporty lines nearby as well as some classics worth checking out on the other softer formation within the park - montezuma tower is definitely worth doing for the exposure and views provided www.mountainproject.com/v/north-ridge/105751609. Have fun wherever you go! --whats up with my links getting chopped? ok there we go...forum link fail on my part. | FLAG |

| Shane Neal wrote: Tim- how are ya!? Its been awhile.... maybe we should get beer night going again...?? Doing pretty good. How about you? Yes, let us instigate a beer night soon. Friday nights work best for me. Some of you people looking for partners, see if you can help out these international and interstate visiting climbers while you are at it. Maybe we can all do a group outing. | FLAG |
