Description

This small block has a handful problems to offer, with it's namesake problem, Collieherb (V0), a worthy addition to any circuit of the area.

Getting There

From the large parking area at the south side of Cap Rock head east following the loop "nature trail". Take the left fork when the trail splits and after several hundred yards look right where the boulder will be seen right off the trail.

Collieherb V0  CA : Joshua Tree National Park : ... : Collieherb Boulder
Move up a vertical face on positive horizontal slashes. For the first couple moves, do what you can with thin, undercut feet. Good warmup, or a fun problem for those who (like me) prefer their boulders a bit easier than V6.Park at the Cap Rock parking area and head up the left (north) fork of the nature trail. Collieherb will be just off to your right before the trail curves around the large rock formation; on the NW face, so you'll basically be staring right at it....[more]   Browse More Classics in CA
