This small block has a handful problems to offer, with it's namesake problem Collieherb (V0), a worthy addition to any circuit of the area.

Getting There 

From the large parking area at the south side of Cap Rock head east following the loop "nature trail". Take the left fork when the trail splits and after several hundred yards look right where the boulder will be seen right off the trail.

The problem starts with a high left hand on the arete, a small sharp crimp for the right and feet under a bulge. Reach high for a shallow dish for the right hand and then punch it to a jug on the arete with the left, after which easier but balancy arete moves lead to the top.* This problem isn't listed in the Joshua Tree Bouldering Guide but is an obvious line with some good moves that's worth a go when in the area....[more]   Browse More Classics in CA
