A small park near the Southern Adventist University in Collegedale, not far from Chattanooga. Very popular with students and locals. Mostly bouldering with a few bolts and several toprope areas. The toprope areas are accessed from private land, so make sure you ask before you approach the anchor areas.

Getting There

Take exit 7 from I-75 and head east on Apison Pike until you reach a 4-way stop with railroad tracks on your left. Make a right and drive about 1/4 mile past the Mckee Foods entrance. Turn left on a small road immediately before the Village Market. Drive about 1/4 mile and the park will be visible on your right. Park in the normal parking spots, then hike back past the pavilions and enjoy the rock!

Start in the corner of the roof on three little finger pockets, work up and to the left to a huge horizontal crack, then work right using and undercling and a huge jug to grab the slopey topout. Downclimb from there because the top out is not clean enough yet. ...[more]   Browse More Classics in TN
