Description 

Coal Creek Canyon (CO Hwy 72) is mostly private property but is host to at least one great crag at the top of the canyon that will be worth the drive.

Getting There 

Drive South from Boulder 10 miles or north from Golden on CO Hwy 93, and go west on CO Hwy 72.

There are great holds through the first roof. The route becomes easier. At second roof, there is slightly harder crimping. The route backs off to easy 5th Class.
