Description

Area located upstream from current routes in WCC; near Clints Well Rap in and climb out. Or take Tramway Trailhead from upstream.

Getting There

Wether you are coming from the Valley or Flagstaff, you'll turn west on FS-122C, aproxamently 100 yards south of the Clint's Well gas station. You'll continue till you come to FS-9399S on your right. Take that till you come to the end of the road. Park and head down the hill following a climbers trail marked by carins. It's a beautiful hike to the creek. Head down stream and you'll see Porter's Pillar hiding the Hidden Garden on the right and the Southern Wall on the left.

Brother's Bond 5.10 6b 20 VII- 19 E2 5b  AZ : Central Arizona : ... : Hidden Garden
The Day I did the FA I brought two of my boys to give my pregnant wife a a mu h needed break. They absalutely had a blast. I figured since Porter's Pillar was named after one of their little brothers, I'd keep the theme going. It's a thin hand crack that protects well. There is a short dirty and slabby aproach pitch that leads to a right facing dihedral. Brother's Bond climbs a thin crack that stops 30' up, then protected by a bolt, transitions to the main crack to a belay ledge. ...[more]   Browse More Classics in AZ

Matt blocking my view of the Rostrum as Aaron calls it. At least 3 long pitches I bet. It is the shadowed face with a small point on top.
