My new pair of Metolius gloves last only a couple of days before the stitching started to come apart!

Has anyone else seen this before, or did I just get a dud pair?

~2000' above Boulder.

I've been using the fingerless gloves for a couple years now, and no problems so far with the stitching.

You can love your rope but you can't "LOVE" your rope

I get the $8.99 leather gloves at the grocery store and cut the fingers off. They last a whole season or two.

Can't say I've had that problem, John. Could you turn and cough, please?

the stitching on my belay hand between the index and thumb has been burned off by the rope but other than that it seems to be ok...

Well, I sent my gloves back to Metolius and they replaced them with a new pair!

Many thanks to whoever made that happen.
