| I have cams that need reslinging and wanted to order some slings from Fish. I have tried emailing and calling for the last three months. I have never gotten though and never received anything but email autoreply. Are they still in business? Do they actually resling cams and sell stuff? | FLAG |

| That is so cool Bill Forrest is back doing some climbing stuff. Last I heard he was sticking to snowshoe designs. I still have and use a 55 cm ice axe he made thirty years ago. | FLAG |

| I have never used Fish for reslings, but those guys make some really nice products with excellent customer service. Too bad you cant get through. | FLAG |

| Thanks.
-Yates won't do them. They are over 10 yrs old (but not even used in the last ten).
From the Forest webpage:
# 27 kN (6,500 lb.) strength # Easy to handle. 6mm webbing.
6mm webbing at 27kn (6500 lb) strength??? Typo perhaps? | FLAG |

Yeah, but will Black Diamond resling your friends?
I would not expect them to resling their competitor's products. | FLAG |

I think the ones I had done were done with 12mm, I'll measure when I get a minuet. If you give them a call I'm sure they can answer any questions you might have. | FLAG |

Looks like elsewhere on the website they spec 16mm. Probably a typo. | FLAG |

| Pretty sure Bill Forrest the climber spelled his name with two r's, so when someone has a company that spells it Forest, I'd say don't make any assumptions about it being the historically significant climbing guy. I'd think he knows how to spell it... | FLAG |

Send your cams to 6564 Pine Springs Ave., 29 Palms CA 92277. Detailed pricing, shipping info & instructions found here
Please note that if you are particular about the color used it's best to pick up your own webbing and send it in with the cams. Otherwise, for a dollar more (per) you can save yourself the trouble and be hooked up with webbing from stock. Stock colors change on a regular basis so your guess is as good as mine.
When shipping your cams please be sure to include IN THE BOX the following:
-Your name -Your email address -Contact telephone number -Ship to address -DROP DEAD DATE FOR RETURN -Billing information for PayPal invoice &/or cc information -Webbing width preferred (1" 11/16" or 5/8") -Providing your own webbing? Tie 11" of preferred color to each cam
Omitting any of the following will only delay the repair and/or return (see "Dude" above)
Repairs can be done at the same time, be sure to indicate if you want one side or two.
Note: No Alien Repairs. Cams that require cables to be drilled out or soaked for hours due to corrosion may be subject to additional charges.
Need slings order online using our online order form.
Emailing for 3 months?!! What address are you emailing to? What is your email address? Perhaps you are getting blocked along with most of Germany and Russia or getting dumped into a catch-all account that doesn't get monitored.
email info@fishproducts.com for faster service.
p.s. Rich.....ummm hello. Send cams to us using instructions provided. | FLAG |

Thanks for the reply
I emailed to the link on the website: info@fishproducts.com
I went through my sent mail folder which goes back through April. I do not have sent mail records prior to that. I sent emails to you April 6, April 27 and two May 14. I used two different email addresses thinking that for whatever reason maybe one email addy was being blocked/filtered. The April emails were from (deletd). The May emails were from (deleted). I also left a phone message last Thursday because I was not getting anything other than this automated email reply:
"We are mostly out of the office until mid May '09. Please adjust your panic accordingly.
Feel free to send us emails and orders, and we'll take a peek at them when we get back into the office. If you have current orders in with us right now, there is an 94.4% chance these are either on the way or being completed at this very moment. We will be in and out all month, so if you had a drop dead date in April or early May, we should still be on schedule with your order.
If you want to be the first kid on the block to get FISH stuff for the Fall climbing season, I would suggest ordering up now.
Thanks! and have a great Spring!"
I have not previously done business with you and had a couple questions prior to sending the stuff in. I did not send you stuff, 'cause I was not receiving any replies.
Can you or Russ please call me? three zero 3 5 eight 2 one 7 1 zero

Can you send me a generic email to: info @ widefetish com
I would like to see the headers on your emails. Use both your accounts if you can. This server is different than the FISH one and will hopefully yield some better results. | FLAG |

| yates website says they won't do old cams, but i sent some rigid stem friends to them that were at least 25 years old, and they reslung them without any comments. i think they are just putting a disclaimer of sorts out there. they did a great job, for cheap, and very quickly - i highly recommend them. | FLAG |

| Yeah Rich, send those units to the animal guy. I, personally delivered a stack 'o' cams; to our buddy the Colonel (some of which you and I, and Fred, and that Sanders guy, among others, have climbed actual walls with) and he did more than okay by the Colonel.
Get this, you guys; his style is quirky (a plus, in my book) but his work is second to none! | FLAG |
