I am wondering if anyone knows which C3 is the next smallest from the 0.3 C4. I am assuming that a #2 C3 is larger than the 0.3 C4. In that case, I would not want to buy a #2 C3 because I already have the 0.3 C4. Anyone know the answer to this? Hopefully I explained that clearly. Thanks.

edit: There is a great picture here that explains this if anyone is interested...

From the link, click on compare, which is below the picture of the five cams.

No off hand but just google C3 sizing chart and look for the expansion range...then do the same with the C4...

Cima Margherita and Cima Tosa in the Dolomiti di Brenta. October 1977.

The range of the #2 C3 is contained in the range of the 0.3 C4. However, because of the much narrower head, whenever I carry only one of the two, it's the C3.

The #1 (red) C3 has smaller minimum and maximum expansions than the 0.3 C4.

Thanks for the links John. That answers my question.

As you essentially said Brenta, the #2 C3 is pretty much the same thing, if you will, as a 0.3 C4. Looks like the #1 C3 will be my first purchase...

Actually, I said the opposite. I don't mean to suggest that you should buy the #2 C3 instead of the #1; only that that's more to cams than expansion range. A #2 C3 can often be placed where the 0.3 C4 cannot.

My Yellow C3 is one I place on almost every climb. Fits many more places than the .3 C4.
