What was left of the rack when I topped out on the last pitch of Snake Dike on Half Dome.

From MtnTools: "Each CCH cam fitted with an Ultratape sling, individually tensile tested at the factory and also UIAA tested and approved"

So I'm curious if this is a typo or what. Mountain Tools says that aliens are UIAA tested now. I couldn't find any info on the cch website that says that. Are they UIAA approved now and or tested by anyone else? I know about their new testing, drop tower, etc.

Here's the link:

Me and my pup, Mabel, on the Launch Pad at Whitehorse Ledge, NH.

Interesting...perhaps they are frightened about the amount of havoc the new Metolius Master Cams are going to deliver their world. Personally, I'm going to stick out these hard times with CCH, and give 'em my support...viva la alien!!

My understanding is that, Yes they are now tested to UIAA standards.
