Looking to hear what other people use for shoes while aiding when you think you are going to switch from aid to free climbing. It seems board lasted shoes are hard to find. I have a pair of guide tennies that I aid in but the thought of aiding in my mythos is awful. And trying to free 5.10 in Approach shoes seems beyond my ability. What have you guys found that worked ?
Thanks.

rebuilt Chouinard Canyons. Cheapo reinforcement of carbon-fiber insoles, resoled with C4 on the bottom. I hadn't forseen the lack of tread as a bonus for aiding but, yeah it is.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
