Just moved to Denver from the East Coast this past fall and looking for more climbing partners/friends in the area, especially those closish to my age/ability. I've been pretty busy with a new job thus far...which has made it difficult to meet friends/climbing partners. I have a membership at the DBC, and try to climb there 2-3 times a week to train, but definitely will start getting outside again as soon as it warms up a little bit.

I'm a strong 5.10 sport climber/easy 5.11. Would love to climb with someone looking to redpoint in the easier 5.11's to harder 5.11's/easy 5.12's and also get some regular trad partners that I can trust to climb multipitch with. I will onsight 5.8 trad, and 5.9/5.10 if the gear is good. (I actually would really love to meet someone who wants to climb the Diamond with toward the end of this coming summer/fall). I've also traveled quite a bit to climb, and want to continue this with new/old friends as much as possible. I've been climbing about 7 years, 4.5 of those has been outside, and consider myself fairly competent (but of course there is a ton to learn). Willing to climb with all age/skill levels, but definitely looking for friendsssss (haha) who are psyched on climbing. I was definitely part of the climbing community back where I moved from out East, and have very much missed that so far here in Denver....

There is a community in Denver, but it's a little spread out. It won't take long to meet people though. I have someone in mind to introduce you to that climbed a lot in the Red River Gorge and has lived here for a while and I think she's around your age and level of ability. I'll send you a message. At the very least she should be able to hook you up.
