I just moved to the area, and I'm wondering where the closest climbing is for sport, top rope and bouldering. Thanks!

Lake of the Ozarks, right? Lots of unclimbed limestone walls around. Lots of opportunity for 1st ascents. Access will probably be a huge issue. Not a lot of public land in MO.

Yeah, I've found some great deep water solo lines on the lake where we go cliff jumping. I'm assuming state parks are off limits. Also, on the destinations in MIssouri, only 3 of them are on the site's map. I was wondering which might be closest to me.

I would say Warsaw is your best bet, I went last spring and there is some fun stuff and most of it is pretty solid rock. It's probably only an 45-1hr drive. I also took a day to head to Trapper's and found most of it to be fairly loose and chossy.

All along the Ozarks there is rock, but like Jon said access could be an issue.

Also, you're not far from Horseshoe Canyon, would be great for weekend trips and some pretty amazing climbing from what I hear.
