| Headed out to California in a few days driving up pacific coast highway up route 1. Going to start around Paso Robles and head up into Oregon as far as I can until time runs out. Looking for some good easy to moderate climbs for me and my girl along the coast. Would love some suggestions. Top rope, and easy to moderate sport preferable. Thanks | FLAG |

| San Luis Obispo (30 minutes south of Paso) has the best sport and TR in the area: Bishop Peak Wagon Caves Plenty of random bouldering along the coast: Partington Cove Some stuff along the Redwood Coast Plenty of other stuff if you're willing to drive 30 minutes to an hour off the 1. | FLAG |

| alot of that redwood coast list is inland (trinity aretes) look on this site for goat rock - sunset rocks - scenic spot for TR and bouldering mickey's beach twin coves these are on the marin and sonoma coasts karen's rock at moonstone in humboldt co. is probably your best bet for rope climbing on the far north coast. have fun. | FLAG |

| +1 for Pinnacles. It is right off RT 101 in Soledad. There is a really fun 6 pitch 5.5 there called "Machete Ridge." It is called "Old Original" on Mountain Project. Fun exposed easy climbing along a spectacular ridge. | FLAG |

| good ol machete! pinnacles adventure climbing at it's finest! machete direct 5.9 A1 is pretty sweet too! if you climb at the pinn, wear a helmet and practice girth hitching your door knob one handed. comes in handy more than you might think | FLAG |
