Hi, I will be based in Ulm, Germany through the winter and spring from the beginning of November. Feel free to shoot me a msg if someone is looking for a partner in Ulm area and other places like the Frankenjura, Bavarian Alps, Tirol, Swiss Alps (only 3 hrs from Ratikon!)... I have a more or less flexible schedule with several days off each week, and I will be looking for partners for everything (sport, trad, ice, mixed, alpine, touring...) Solid all-around climber, 5.13 sport and trad, experienced in long steep ice and mixed terrain also. I will be taking along a camper van so the trips can be lush. Thanks and have a safe winter! :)

--My wife and I just signed a contract to work in Ulm starting in August. Looks like we will just miss each other. Too bad. I'm super curious how your experience has been. Also we're thinking of getting a camper van as well, so, we're pretty much doing the same thing (except, I don't climb anywhere near .13, LOL)

Haven't climbed there, but I drove by a sweet looking gym in Ulm that had via ferrata stuff on the outside wall.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
