Anyone looking for a solid belay, triple anchor, check your partner's gear partner? Semi regular trips to the Gunks and local climbing here?

Drop me an email. photonicgirl@hotmail.com

Ya'll ever climbed Res Rocks in Great Barrington MA?

The Gunks are great on weekdays. After all these years and season passes, I no longer visit the Gunks on weekends.

But, the itch can be scratched. During the week or on weekends there's a great place we could go climb here sort of local to Rensselaer County NY. Also yes, I'd really enjoy having a regular Gunks climbing buddy to carpool with during the week.

My longtime climbing partner moved with his wife to Florida. My husband has a full time job in Albany, plus four to five nights/days of Aikido, so all we can manage together is a visit to The Edge now and then. Great gym if you like gyms, which I really don't. On a rainy day though, it's the ticket.

I haven't led anything in a few years. Focus has been on horses. I have a full rack and all the gear. Can definitely follow 5'8 right now, could move on back up to following harder routes. Eventually might even put my leader head on. Love big wall climbs too. I once led many 5'8 climbs in the Gunks.

Please note: I am 56. I teach yoga, ride my horses bareback up the mountain, am a snowboarding ski patroller at Bromley Mountain, kayak, ride and repair road and mountain bikes. So a bit older, a bit wiser, but still kicking it. Looking for someone who is the same.

Thank you.

Jules
