The Climb Bandits area is characterized by mostly sunny climbs facing South/Southwest. This is a fairly secluded area that rarely has other people and is not far from the Black Hole Wall (Recommended). Rock quality ranges from great to horrible (see warning on Climb Bandits Route) with routes that are traditional in nature.
Getting There
Follow the trail down to the main wash from the First Pullout parking area. At the base of the trail in the wash is the Circus Wall; hike out of the wash heading right (northeast) on a rock ramp. The trail will dip into a saddle with scrub oak, boulder hop out of the wash still heading east. You'll come to a major wall on your left called Cactus Massacre. Head straight east from Cactus Massacre, you'll dip down through two more gullies. At this second gully, head north straight up the gully for about 100 yards through boulders and scrub oak until you come to a huge boulder wall splitting the gully in the middle. The crack splitting this boulder is Climb Bandits.
