DescriptionBushwack to get here, a guide is a nice thing to have for the map. A spread out wall with 6 lines (currently)all trad. ranging from 5.6 to 5.12a. Easy approach ,if you know where you're going. Nice quality of rock. Finding Baptist Preacher (5.6) will confirm that you are in the right place. Getting There(Taken from Ray Ellington's Guide, Red River Gorge Rock Climbs) Drive down Forest Service Road 9B from its intersection with 9A for .5 miles and park on the right. Hike across the creek and straight up the ridge (staying to the left of the drainage). As you start to see the cliff line, you should be able to make out the remarkable splitter crack of Baptist Preacher to your left. Continue hiking up through a patch of rhododendrons to reach the cliff. Walk to the far right end of the cliff to locate two cracks beneath a huge roof split by a fingertip-sized crack. The first dihedral to your right is Blue Thunder (5.8-) The ClassicsMountain Project's determination of some of the classic, most popular, highest rated routes for Clearcut Wall:
