Moving towards the jug at the crux.
Add Photo Printer View
Description The bottom half of this route is very fun. It is located directly above the mine shaft. The crux comes between the 3rd and 4th bolt. There is a triangle-shaped rock that juts out above you, and my partner found an intermediate hold while I had to throw for the jug. Either way, it's fun.
Location It is directly above the mine shaft.
Protection 9 (10?) coldshuts to a 2 bolt anchor.

| Fun climb. The crux would definitely be more difficult for the shorter climber. Cool start over the mine shaft! |

| I counted 10 bolts with the extra one being the second one on the route, most of the way through the 4th class between b1 and now b3. My wife is 5 ft and I'm 6 ft 4 in, and there was a significant difference in our experiences at the, for her, crux going over the small initial roof after b4. I found it probably 10d at most, maybe even pumpy 10c while she found it honest at the grade. Definitely height-dependent. |
