Description Suggest change

A very impressive hunk of rock seen from miles distant. It has many options to gain the summit but getting there will be a walk of 40 min.s or so.

Getting There Suggest change

Following the directions for the "Area", try and park as close to the corral as possible. Hike east a short distance to the first wash and take it north to the very apparent monolith. You will see a trail heading up a dune to the mesa edge that gains the rocks base (OR) drive to the end of the road and a turn around where you park. Then enter through the stile and follow the cattle trail north until you see a "good" way up NE toward the "Chimney". This is the best option but will take some recon.
