Therei is a lot of granite here it is just whether it is good quality rock or not, phoenix rock 2 gives you all of the route descriptions and how to get there. This place does not get much traffic.The best time to come here is the fall trhough spring although it may be cold in the shade somethimes

Getting There 

From the 101 go north on scottsdale road to dynamite road, continue onthis untill you reach 118th street, turn left and continue on road untill you reach the parking lot, do not turn on powerline road.
