Do I dare say that this seemed harder than 5.7? Or is that only because it was my first climb in Maple Canyon? hmmm... for a moment I thought I was in the Needles of South Dakota.

I agree that this climb feels a bit hard for a 5.7, but not hard enough to call it an 8. I found myself a bit intimidated feeling for holds over the slight bulge (I am not tall), but they are definitely there.

not an easy into to Maple

First climb in Maple, seems like 5.8. Much harder than all of the 5.7's next to it. Small, hard to find holds.

I won't agree, I think it was easier than Drowning Baby Fish next to it. The holds are there. But yeah, especially if you aren't used to climbing Maple, its porbably 5.7+.
