Do I dare say that this seemed harder than 5.7? Or is that only because it was my first climb in Maple Canyon? hmmm... for a moment I thought I was in the Needles of South Dakota.

I agree that this climb feels a bit hard for a 5.7, but not hard enough to call it an 8. I found myself a bit intimidated feeling for holds over the slight bulge (I am not tall), but they are definitely there.

First climb in Maple, seems like 5.8. Much harder than all of the 5.7's next to it. Small, hard to find holds.
