Description Suggest change

The National Trust owned side of the gorge. Access here is a lot more liberal, but the routes lack the stature of their Southern cousins. Popular spots such as the quick-drying Easter Island and the very public Lion Rock are found on this side of the gorge.

Getting There Suggest change

The North side is on your left as you drive into the gorge from Cheddar village. There are parking spaces close to most of the crags.

Access

Suggest change
The North side of the gorge is owned by the national trust and is on open-access land. Most of the climbing (and as far as I'm aware, all of the sport climbing) is open year-round, but check individual crags for more information.
