| Some buds and I are heading to the Chattanooga area this coming weekend (March 1, 2013) for some sport climbing. Anyone going to be around? I hear it'll be quite chilly, but it'll be a nice change of pace considering it has been in the 80s here in Florida. Anyone have any chilly-weather climbing tips? - J | FLAG |

| Cold is cold when in the shade. Like someone mentionged above, try to chase the sun. They are calling for rain/snow on Friday into Saturday, so Sunday may be your best bet. Once your hands and feet are numb you won't feel the cold anymore anyway. | FLAG |

| sport climbing will be miserable this wknd, and i'm a sport climber! fosters does get decent sun, but 38 degrees/snow on sat will be prohibitive. that there is bouldering weather! | FLAG |

| Man, you'll be fine. Most people think route weather is when summer starts, so half the opinions you'll receive will be null and void. Snow is better than rain because the precip is mostly solid! And the air is drier...making conditions way better than warm and rain. Fosters will be fine, T-Wall is great if any sun peaks out (what grades are you looking for?) Sunday looks sunny and 40F, which is prime...especially if the cliff is in the shade and you can fine belays in the sun. Pack a thermos, build a fire (if permitted) and do some jumping jacks before you tie in. Simple proactivity makes winter route climbing the best! | FLAG |

| Yeah I will actually be at Fosters not this weekend but next. Weather should be nice mid day and cold at night but that is nothing a few layers cant take care of. Looking to Lead some 5.7 or 5.8s sport routes and maybe follow a 5.10a. | FLAG |

| Hey, I'm gonna be up by t-wall this weekend (sat/sun) with the hopes that there will be parking/camping as I've heard they have started to enforce stricter policies about that kinda stuff. Is there anyone down to trad? Weather should be pretty good for trad leads I would say. Definitely done colder. If anyone is down I'm pretty open to what to climb just need a partner. | FLAG |

Yes, they have now closed off several of the long established campsites and you now are only allowed to camp in the areas directly behind the parking lot. | FLAG |
