Perhaps the most underutilized/underrated Ohio crag. Probably because of its distance from Cleveland's East side (50 minutes). 60+ problems and a few short TR's. MANY unrepeated jewels. Free used tires available floating among the discarded baby strollers and shooping carts in the Black River. Clean up day, anyone??? Rock is the same stuff as Brecksville (Berea Sandstone). Most routes are way solid with large slopey features. Except when the rock is not so solid.. it will all come down.

I don't recall.. 90W -> 57S -> Left on Road, Right on Gulf .. etc.

Not hitting the tree and successfully pulling off the mantle.--Start on the high crimps and work to dyno into the large diagonal hold. Reach to the lip and mantle the slab to top. Scary because falling from the mantle would land you on the horizontal tree. Repeated once....[more]   Browse More Classics in OH

john- the solid rock is solid. why would you say: "it will all come down"? most of its bomber. this is bothersome especially because you added the comment to my area description which you pasted here on this site. wtf?

There is a TON of poison ivy by the first boulders. I visited this area recently and there could also be some fun TR stuff. Next time I go home to see the 'rents I'm hoping to check it out.
