Captain Aslab Boulder.

Description

This boulder is a pretty nice slab right in the middle of the hill as you walk west from Bullet Hole Rock. It has an anchor in it for top-roping but can be done as a boulder problem as well. If I remember correctly, the anchor is questionable, so doing it as a boulder problem might not be a bad idea.

Getting There

Park at the Bullet Hole area, and walk down the hill. From Bullet Hole, head west and start walking back up the hill. It's a huge slab you can see from the road, so it's not hard to discover.

Money In My Purse V1-2 5  CO : Grand Junction area : ... : Captain Aslab Boulder
This is a fun, easier alternative to Call Me Ishmael as you don't have to deal with the small roof feature, and the rock is a little more textured. Just work your way up the left side of the slab face. Avoid the arete on the left until your hands are a few feet from the top....[more]   Browse More Classics in CO
