Description 

Liberty Cap is the big face/dome to the left of Nevada Fall.
Several routes exist, but the Southwest Face is the most popular, a big wall climb in a spectacular location.


Getting There 

Hike The Mist Trail from Happy Isles to the top of Vernal Fall. Continue on the trail, across the river until it is possible to wander up to the face.

Does this description really do the formation any justice?

No. But it creates a parent object for someone to attach a photo to, which is obviously the motivation here.
