Free falling 1,612' to the valley floor, Ribbon Falls is the highest, continuous waterfall in Yosemite and third highest of Yosemite's waterfalls. It ranks 18th highest in the world. Ribbon Falls Amphitheatre is a spectacular place offering great climbing and an awesome view of the West Face of El Capitan. Climbs here range from short to big walls. Other, shorter crags are found near the area.
Getting There
From the Old Big Oak Flat Road, find your way through the forest to the falls.
