For those who are dying to know where boulder problems like these are, check out the original Needles guidebook. There are a few great swimming holes (some with great boulder problems) mentioned along Lower Kern River Road. The swimming holes and water slides (and bouldering) are one aspect of the Needles Area that should not be missed.
