Wild Turkey is a 5.8R route, between Crown Royal and the Groove. If you locate the CR roof, go right 15' or so, you'll see a crack heading up to a fixed pin 20' up or so. Last I checked 8/06, this pin had a couple pink slings tied through it. There are also some knobs that might be slung. I have yet to talk to anyone who has done this route. Please post up if you've got beta. The old green Tahoe Rock guide says this about the route: "Rack: webbing slings and one 2 1/2 chock. Climb up a groove to the right side of a large ceiling; then traverse left along the celing's lip until possible to face climb up left to a horn. Continue until out of rope, then belay. This route has less than marginal protection."
Location
between CR and the Groove. 15' left of the Groove.
Protection
fixed pin? Knob tie offs? I'm not even sure about the belay...
