Description 

Monk's Rock is the large boulder sitting on the trail that most people scoff at on the way to the many tradional and sport routes in the leap. What they don't realize is that there is some excellent bouldering at Lover's Leap, and is worth at least a look.

Getting There 

Approach time: 3 minutes.

From the parking lot, head up hill and cross over the small foot bridge to the Pony Express Trail. Hang a left, and walk up the gently sploped trail for about 3 minutes. Monk's Rock is the first rock, and there are several other rocks behind it, barely visible from the trail.

I think you mean the Pony Express Trail in the approach section
