Description 

This is the wide-open, high-desert area, east of Mono Lake and north of the Glass Mountains. There are two areas found here that are not actually at the summit itself: Granite Basin and Dexter Canyon.


Getting There 

From 395, take Highway 120, east To these areas.

This East Side classic was first climbed by Vern Clevenger and Tom Higgins in 1975. It was climbed in the traditional runout style.
