KK starting up 'Nirvana'

Description

Some funky wandering through the first two bolts leads to delightful and obvious climbing through a flake system.

Careful of loose spots, a few chalk x's indicate that this climb is still going through some growth.

Location

Left side of the Social Platform, just to the left of the prominent 10d crack (Feudal Beerlords).

Protection

5 bolts to mussy hooks

Doing this climb and Feudal Beerlords (crack/face to the right) is a very popular warm-up sequence for the harder climbs in the immediate area. Feudal Beerlords can be easily toproped from the same anchors as Nirvana, or it can be lead with gear.

Suggestion for the Nirvana - Feudal Beerlords link up is to use either a long runner at the top of Nirvana or skip the anchor clip all together when traversing right to Feudal Beerlords. Otherwise, the rope drag would be brutal.

Easy terrain, I just skipped it and traversed over on the handrail.

It's also just as easy to top-rope 'feudal beerlords' right off the 'nirvana' anchors. Climb 'nirvana', lower, and head up 'beerlords', then traverse left to the anchors at the top. the swing is minimal.
