Description 

This is the rock-band that runs along the top of the right (east) side of the canyon when you first enter. It is one of the first areas on the approach and features the ultra-classic "Atari" v6 as one of the first problems on the rim as you enter the canyon.

Getting There 

Take the main trail up the hill into the canyon and keep your eyes out for the few trails that lead up to the rim on the right (east) side. The rim is visible from the main trail, easy to find.

Dubbed "The World's Shortest Highball", Atari Arete is one of the most aesthetic boulder problems on the east side of the Sierras (or anywhere) and offers an exciting finish. What starts off as a wide sloping bear-hug style arete, eventually becomes narrower and less secure.
