I was checking this area out in the winter of 2005 when a cantaloupe sized rock hit the ground about ten feet from me after falling (I'm assuming) several hundred feet from the rim above. Needless to say, I left and never came back. That big rock scar up there is still shedding loose rock. IMO, climbing here really isn't worth the risk of getting splattered by falling rock with no warning whatsoever. Climb here at your own risk, you have been warned.
