Sanitarium

Description 

The northern most crag in Upper Gorge sits well above the river and features Devils Tower like columns separated by thin cracks. Recommended for tick-listers and those seeking solitude.

Getting There 

From the base of Bombay On The Rocks at Dihedrals, walk along the cliff base for about 100M to where the cliff becomes briefly lower angle, then scramble up for about 100M. The first 20M or so are easy 5th class. There are two sets of rap anchors to facilitate descending the lower 60M.
