Holocaust (10b) at the DMZ. People learn to avoid...

Description

A west-side area of 17 routes at the southern end of the Inner Gorge, DMZ is among the cliffs with the fewest stars/route avg. in the ORG.
Good place to warm-up for harder material nearby -- hence the name? Faces SE -- so esp. suitable on cold mornings.

Getting There

Central Gorge Gully approach. Walk north for ten minutes or so. DMZ is on the west side of the river, across from the Staying Powers Towers.

This cliff is characterized by 5.10 slabs. It also has a couple of worthwhile easier trad pitches.
