I was was wondering who/why everybody is calling this "split rock" I grew up right by this place and I have never known it as anything other than Buddha rock, to each is own, but heads up that the corte madera locals have there own name, and don't be surprised when your on the approach to smell some sweet sweet herbs burning as it is a prime spot to find kids partying.
