Description Climb the featured face of the south side of the Leaning Tower using all the holds you can imagine. This is a great route for beginners, as there are a few spots where finding good grips is tricky. You can also climb it one handed if 5.5 is a little easy for you.
Protection Bring a range of gear (up to 3") to protect this route. For a top rope, bring long slings (up to 30') to place in the large holes in the top of the rock, or bring some larger friends to set up an anchor.

By Melissa Moore From: Berkeley, CA Oct 22, 2002 This route is just slightly overhanging, so it's a great climb to introduce new climbers to the idea of overhangs. The plethora of jugs also makes it a nice climb for folks who haven't done much outdoor climbing and are frustrated by grips not being marked.
