Ben Gunn

Description 

Two sport routes here. The left is "Attack of the Mad Axeman" the right one is "Ben Gunn."

(Ben Gunn was the cast-away in Robert Louis Stevenson's "Treasure Island" who found the Pirates loot, dug it up and hid it. Arrrrgh!)

Getting There 

See Overview map. Either approach from Thagomizer cliff, above, or a vague game trail from directly beneath the routes. You can see the crag from the road, it has clean, light colored rock with oak trees growing above it along the visible sky line. (Bigger than it looks from below.)
