Alexander Rose finishes the Chimney route on The B...


Description 

Climb up the chimney between the routes Face and Solar Power. This chimeny is a little dusty, but will clean out wth traffic. It seems to be a reasonable warm up or beginner climb, and can be done without interfering with the climbers who (contantly) occupy Face.


Protection 

Some mixed large pieces or a TR from the anchors of Face or Solar Power.

I viewed this climb more as an opportunity to photograph fellow climbers on the face to the left... Napa Valley makes a beautiful backdrop.

It's mostly class 4 until a chimney move near the top. If leading it protects well but even a short fall would be painful.
