BETA PHOTO: Peeper's Rock with useable bolts. I don't count t...
Description
This is a smaller rock in the same cluster with the main rock of Mickey's beach. When looking down the trail, this rock is the prominent rock furthest right.
The routes on this rock range from moderate (5.9) to tough (5.12ish). There is only one existing bolt line, though there are several others waiting to be bolted. There is also an old aid route, though some of the rusty bolts are clipped, and this line badly needs rebolting. There are also several existing top ropes available. The California State Parks has turned a blind eye to bolting in the area, so if you know what you're doing, go ahead. If you don't please don't practice bolting here!
The rock has it's name because from the top of the rock you have the best view of the nearby nude beach, which is located just northwest of the main sport area, and on the other side of the main bouldering area.
Getting There
From the main parking lot, head down the prominent trail to the main cluster of rocks. This is the rightmost (northwest) rock in the cluster, and can be indentified by the lone bolted route facing the approach trail.
