Lyra determined not to be a dead bug (photo by A. ...

Description

A very short overhanging problem with a good landing on sharp and crystal-lined holds. The rock quality seems less than stellar, but so far has held up against countless attempts.

Sit start on the right facing flake and top out on the gritty sloper lip.

  • Note:Known in the printed guides as "unnamed", "Dead Bug" was given after numerous people noticed how many seem to look like a dead bug on their back if they fail to latch the holds. If anyone knows the given name and the F.A., I'm more than happy to change it and give credit where credit is due.

Location

Just downhill of and facing Bellyflop.

Protection

Crashpad

Taller people may want to skip the pinch and go straight to the lip since your knee can block progress to the lip off of the pinch.
