BETA PHOTO: The Dog Pile's steep south face

The Area

This contains a couple of very large boulders, skirted by some fun boulder problems at its base. Besides Moby Dick, the Dog Pile boulder itself is the biggest rock found in the landscape of Santee.

Getting There

From Mast Rd, take the main trail that veers left and look to the top of the northwest hillside to see this area.
